About

I’m Alvin Alias. I spent about a decade building and maintaining physical machines. Now I build data science systems.

The bench has six live demos you can run. I use Notes to write about the decisions behind those projects and the limits of the final numbers. When something fails, that belongs here too.

Notes are short observations from work in progress. Entries are dated accounts of a result or engineering decision. References are guides I keep current as I use those methods again.

My portfolio has the finished project pages. GitHub has the code. This site is for the work between them.
